Welcome to Moose Hollow Haven. We are honored you’ve chosen to stay with us in beautiful Talkeetna, Alaska. Our goal is to provide a peaceful, comfortable, and memorable experience for every guest. These Terms & Conditions help ensure a safe and enjoyable stay for everyone.

By making a reservation or staying with us, you agree to the following terms.

Reservations & Payments

Reservations are confirmed once payment or deposit is received and you receive a confirmation email.

Rates are listed in U.S. Dollars and may be subject to applicable taxes and fees. Payment terms will be clearly provided during booking.

Check-In & Check-Out

Check-in is at 3 PM, check-out is at 11 AM.

We are happy to accommodate early check-in or late check-out when possible, but this cannot be guaranteed due to cleaning and preparation schedules.

Quiet Hours

To preserve the peaceful nature of Moose Hollow Haven for all guests and neighbors, quiet hours are observed daily from:

9:00 PM to 8:00 AM

During this time, please avoid loud music, running generators, shouting, or disruptive behavior. We want everyone to enjoy the tranquility of Alaska’s wilderness.

Pet Policy

We welcome well-behaved pets, as we know they are part of the family.

To ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone, we ask that guests follow these guidelines:

  • Pets must be disclosed at the time of booking

  • Pets must be under control at all times

  • Pets may not be left unattended unless crated

  • Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pets

  • Pets must not disturb other guests or wildlife

  • Any damage caused by pets is the responsibility of the owner

Because we are located in a natural wilderness area, pets must be closely supervised at all times for their safety due to the presence of wildlife such as moose and bears.

We reserve the right to ask guests to remove pets that pose a safety risk or cause disturbance.

Occupancy Limits

Each cabin is designed to comfortably accommodate a specific number of guests. Please respect the stated occupancy limits provided at booking.

If you have additional guests, please contact us in advance and we will do our best to accommodate when possible.

Maximum Stay Policy

To preserve the peaceful, boutique-lodge atmosphere at Moose Hollow Haven and ensure availability for all guests, stays are limited to a maximum of fourteen (14) consecutive nights. Extensions beyond two weeks are not permitted. Guests seeking longer-term accommodations are encouraged to make separate reservations with an appropriate time between stays, subject to availability and management approval.

Respect for Property

We have thoughtfully created Moose Hollow Haven to be a peaceful retreat. We ask guests to treat cabins, RV pads, and the property with care and respect.

Guests are responsible for any damage beyond normal wear and tear.

Wildlife & Natural Environment

Moose Hollow Haven is located in Alaska’s beautiful wilderness. Wildlife sightings are part of the experience, but guests should always maintain a safe distance and never approach or feed animals.

Guests accept responsibility for their personal safety while on the property and while participating in outdoor activities.

Personal Property

Guests are responsible for their personal belongings. Moose Hollow Haven is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Moose Hollow Haven shall not be liable for injury, loss, accidents, delays, or circumstances beyond our control, including weather, wildlife, or natural events.
