Talkeetna, Alaska
Talkeetna is a small, historic town about two hours north of Anchorage. It’s known as the jumping-off point for climbers heading to Denali, but it’s also one of the most charming and adventure-packed towns in Alaska. You get mountain views, three major rivers, aviation history, fishing, hiking, and a fun, quirky small-town vibe — all in one place.
Map of Our Location
Want to find us the true Alaskan way? Drive up the Spur until Denali makes an appearance (if she’s feeling cooperative). Try not to miss your turn while you’re staring at the mountain which is at the Baptist church (Noel Wien Road). Continue up to Moose Hollow, turn right, and we’re just beyond the Dead End sign.
